David and Brigid, along with their teenage daughter Rachel, moved from Fairbanks, Alaska to a clinic and orphanage in Baja California, Mexico to serve as medical missionaries. After close to five years in Mexico (and just when they were beginning to feel at home) they felt the Lord gave them a dream regarding Ireland.

After prayer, exploring the island, and a season of transition David and Brigid made their move to the Midlands in the Republic of Ireland in 2002. They continue to be involved in various avenues of ministry.

Not long after their arrival they were joined by their son Noel. In 2004 they partnered with a group of people to plant a church in the town of Portlaoise. Currently, Noel and his wife Heather serve as lead pastors of Portlaoise Life Church.

Fragrance of Christ continues to play a key role in enabling ministry in Ireland and we are so grateful as we celebrate over 20 years in Ireland and all that God has done since we began this work.
